- Master’s degree in Law (Vilnius University Faculty of Law)
- 6 years’ legal experience specialising in criminal law
During my 6 years of experience serving first in the district court of a major city and then a local law firm I have gained expertise in dealing with complex, high-stakes and high-profile criminal cases.
My legal practice is primarily focused on criminal cases relating to white-collar crime. I have represented clients’ interests during various stages of criminal proceedings concerning criminal cases. The range of cases I have worked on includes the large-scale embezzlement or misappropriation of assets, as well as large-scale VAT fraud or tax evasion involving involved public or private legal persons (including the country’s major financial institutions).
While serving in the district court I represented Lithuanian law enforcement authorities before the European Commission in Brussels regarding international cooperation in criminal matters under the mandate of the Ministry of Justice.
Besides law, I am also interested in science and geography and I enjoy traveling.
