  • 7 years’ experience in tax law
  • More than 6 years’ experience working for the State Tax Inspectorate
  • Member of the European Commission working groups on the application of excise duties

My experience mainly stems from working for the State Tax Inspectorate (STI) under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania. I joined WINT in 2019. Before that, I represented the interests of STI in European Commission working groups and Standing Working Groups on the implementation of mutual agreement procedures between states and the adoption of binding decisions for the future transaction. While working in the Appeals Division of the STI Legal Department, I represented the interests of STI in public institutions and tax-related court cases.

My most significant projects include providing advice to one of the largest retail chain companies on the application of the limitation period for tax calculation and recalculation for the purpose of carryover of tax losses, and providing tax-related advice to one of the largest investment holding companies in a tax dispute against STI concerning carryover of tax losses.

I have been working out for the past 10 years and cannot imagine my life without exercise. Sports addict is a good definition for me, and I hope to achieve even higher levels of performance in the future.
