In 2012–2013, Donatas Zdanavičius acted as a counsel for the oil company, Klaipėdos Nafta, in implementing the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal project and advised the company on the issues concerning construction, regulation, corporate governance and commercial matters.
The project is of great significance for the Republic of Lithuania in ensuring the security of supply of natural gas and diversification of the sources of natural gas supply.
