have blown in the Baltic legal market
Open-minded and insightful
In the situations where legal professionalism alone is not enough, WINT is a breath of fresh air in the Baltic legal market.
Providing a wide spectrum of legal services for businesses allowed us to learn a host of business technology languages, which is why we specialize by industry. We are aware of all aspects of restrictions on different business sectors and our competencies allow us to offer insightful solutions. This is the focus of our open-minded team which brings together recognized leaders and rising stars of the legal market.
Our value-adding expertise and organisational culture enable us to maintain a close relationship with the business and to work hand in hand with our corporate clients to achieve shared objectives.
Baltic law firm alliance
Our clients are driven by ambition and we must also have a broad outlook. As of 2020, we operate in all Baltic states. Cooperation with our Alliance partner LEVIN in Latvia and Estonia ensures smooth implementation of regional projects and development of businesses.
A FUSION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE AND CREATIVITY
We have been working with WINT consistently for some time now. They provide prompt guidance and deliver highly effective solutions. First and foremost, they are well-reasoned.
We especially appreciate this team when we receive specific and sometimes even unexpected solutions for irregular market situations or transactions. This is when the perfect fusion of professional competence and creativity of WINT team is best revealed. We are also impressed with their organisation of work in uncertain situations, when everything seems to be falling apart. We really feel that we act as a team in pursuit of our goal. Working in close cooperation, we have experienced first-hand their value-driven philosophy and proper approach to the client, for which we are very grateful.

STRATEGIC AND CONVINCING IN COMPETITION
We were summoned to appear before the court by our competitor Bitė. This was an interesting one. Tele2 and I were accused of violation of business reputation, damage to their company’s image and unfair competition. Sounds pretty serious. One could expect to spend some time behind bars for this.
However, the lawyers had a different opinion and strategically worked everything out so that the claim was eventually dismissed. Upon hearing their argument, the court defended the freedom of speech and stated that an opinion on competitors can be given if supported by facts. This conclusion was very important to us, because otherwise it would have dealt a serious blow to the competition on the market.

INSIGHTS AND SOLUTIONS BEYOND THE SCOPE OF LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Our business growth opportunities were limited by unfair competition. The wrongful public procurement practices in the railway sector were also contrary to the public interest. The situation was unprecedented in Lithuania and it was not clear whether it was a legal or political issue. How do we get to the root of it? How do we deal with this challenge? What reasoning can we offer?
WINT managed to look at the situation on a larger scale and took a broader approach by giving examples of other European countries and dealing with an unprecedented case in Lithuania. They were patient and persistent and carried through to the end. Today, we are very grateful for this. Their insight and excellent work led to a favourable court decision, which opened the way for suppliers to the public procurement in this sector, thus ensuring fair competition and public interest.
